Shortly after the fiasco of the 10 spies, Korah (a Levite) leads a rebellion against Aaron and Moses feeling he is just as holy and should be in leadership. God sorts things out drastically by taking the lives of these would be leaders. They opposed God's choice and God had to deal with it severley.
