As Luke gives us the background to John's birth and Jesus' coming, we find an aged godly couple still walking and serving God in spite of personal pain and disappointment. We are encouraged through Zechariah and Elizabeth to keep serving and praying knowing that god has a plan He's doing in us and through us for His purposes and at His time.
