Jeremiah writes a letter to Jewish exiles who have to live in Babylon for 70 years ( a lifetime). How is this part of God's 'prosperous and future' plans for His people? Like these aliens and strangers so too do we have to trust God while living here while we await our own return "home" to God's presence and live in such a way we show those around us 'this world is not my home, we're just a passing through'.
