Jesus returns home and declares to His own community that He fulfills Isaiah 61:1-2. But they don't believe Him. Jesus models for us that sharing the gospel - especially with those who know us - may and often does result in rejection. We need to expect that but we also need to believe that some indeed will find their faith in Jesus.
