Maintaining a 'things above' attitude will make for healthier relationships. Paul wants to deal with an unhealthy relationship in the church at Philippi and he does it by reminding everyone what they have in Christ, who they are in Christ and how that confidence in Christ will keep from being less anxious and a more servant attitude will ensue.
