In Numbers 3 God tells Moses and Aaron to divide up the Tabernacle responsibilities among the 3 sons of Levi. God chooses us to serve Him based not on our past qualifications but in spite of our past sins. The setting aside of the Levites to serve the priests was a reminder of how God redeemed His people.
